Discover the potential of Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) in Spain with the BackFund report. This study reveals that 82% of large companies have taken the step of investing in startups, thus driving innovation in strategic sectors. However, there is still room to consolidate these initiatives: only 67% of companies have a stable VC structure.
The report also highlights the opportunity to diversify investment portfolios, a key step in maximizing the impact of investments. Of the companies that already have CVCs, 65% focuses on early-stage startups, facilitating access to emerging technologies and accelerating their growth with vital resources.
Despite being an emerging practice, VC in Spain is in full expansion, with initiatives less than five years old already showing positive results. This moment represents a great opportunity to professionalize investment in startups and take advantage of their full potential.
